Eric Koga, DPM

Eric Koga, DPM, is a caring podiatrist at Sacramento Foot and Ankle Center in Carmichael and Sacramento, California. Dr. Koga is committed to improve his patients’ quality of life and deliver treatment outcomes that bring them lasting relief. 

Dr. Koga is a Sacramento native, growing up in Elk Grove. He attended the University of California, Davis for his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences (with an emphasis in physiology, neurobiology, and behavior). Following his graduation, he decided to pursue a career in podiatry and went on to complete his doctorate in podiatric medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland. 

He received rigorous training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic limb salvage, foot trauma, sports medicine, and arthroscopy (minimally invasive surgery) at a Veterans Affairs Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Sacramento. 

Though foot and ankle surgery is the last resort for Dr. Koga, he can expertly perform both surgical and nonsurgical procedures to help patients feel better. Dr. Koga possesses vast knowledge of conservative treatment methods. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, which allows him to stay on top of the latest advances in podiatric care. 

When he isn’t treating patients, Dr. Koga enjoys snowboarding, golfing, and finding the best pizza places in town with his wife.
